The bargaining has received confirmation of a meeting with the employer for Wednesday.
The union has agreed to a media blackout from this point forward. This means none of our members should be communicating with the press. If a member is approached by the media, they should let it be known that they have “no comment”, as there is a media blackout in effect. We will be informing members when the blackout has been lifted.
In the meantime, the bargaining committee will continue to communicate to our members through the blog and other already established means.
