Another great day of action and another great turnout. Cupe 391 doesn’t need to yell, nor do we need throw things around to make a point. We can sit down together and read! Here’s to the first ever “Read in Solidarity” event. We dare anyone to make us loose our place!
Tomorrow (Monday) and Tuesday, in addition to Central (which will have pickets from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM), there will be pickets up at Kerrisdale, Joe Fortes, and Britannia Branches from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. You do not have to have to be pre-scheduled to picket; just feel free to come down to any of the three branches mentioned for 10:00 AM, and be sure to sign in and out as normal.

Please refrain from using your VPL webmail. This system is administered by and owned by the Vancouver Public Library. Please use a non VPL e-mail account.
VESP forms will be at all picket registration tables. Once completed you may return them to the registration table and they will be forwarded on your behalf to Human Resources for processing.
