Rally at City Hall Friday
Rally at City Hall from noon to 2 pm on Friday August 10th. The rally will be for members of CUPE 391, 15, and 1004. Food and refreshments will be provided. Time spent at the rally will count as picket duty time. All are welcome and encouraged to attend!
Picket Lines on Friday August 10th
There will be a slight change to picket shifts on Friday due to the rally at City Hall.
* Central will have pickets from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
* JFS, COL, BRI, MPL, KIT, KER will all have pickets from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
We anticipate all the Branch picket lines to be down for the afternoon, however, if a sufficient number of picketers at a Branch are willing to stay to 5:00 pm then that line will stay open. If there are not sufficient picketers to maintain the line, members are asked to proceed to Central to complete their shift.
Pickets on Saturday and Sunday
Only Central will have pickets on Saturday and Sunday
* Saturday 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
* Sunday 12:00 – 4:00 pm
Strike Pay Distribution
Financial officers will visit each Branch location Friday morning to distribute cheques. Officers will visit Central both morning and afternoon. The Union Office, (545 West 10th), is open 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, for those wishing to get their cheques there.

Both Decimator teams are playing in the play-offs this Saturday, all day at Gordon Park off Victoria Drive. Come and cheer the teams on anytime, before picketing, after picketing, whenever. Go Decimators Go!
