Party tonight, keep the stories coming, bike and other pickets for next week

First of all, see the posting from earlier today with updated news from the Bargaining Committee.

And remember the party tonight at the WISE Hall (Adanac at Victoria). It starts at 7 pm, not 7:30 as earlier noted, and goes till midnight. Admission is free to 391 as well as 15 and 1004 members. Our own Randy Handful will be deejaying!

Please continue to send along your stories to me directly or via the union office or executive. There’s so much going on, and we are continuing to receive so much encouragement from the community, that it can be hard to keep track! Just today at Britannia we received treats from both a nearby centre (run by a non-profit) and a local coffeehouse. These kinds of gestures, and the constant kind words from the teachers and students, makes being on the picket line feel pretty darn good.

A couple of notes about picket shifts next week:
–There will be pickets at South Hill one day only: Wednesday from 9-1
–Renfrew pickets continue Monday to Thursday 9-1
–There won’t be any more regular pickets at Mount Pleasant, but expect flying pickets to continue
