Here’s what’s happening, bike-brigade-wise, this week.
Monday: no bike picket
Tuesday: meet at Britannia as usual at 9am. Leave 10am for Hastings, then on to Central for the all important vote by 11.30am
Thursday: meet at Britannia as usual at 9am. Leave 10am for destinations unknown.
Wednesday’s epic hits all the library pickets, and some of the other places that cheered for us the most:
- Meet at Joe Fortes Library / Community Centre at 9am (coffee & tea if I remember this time)
- Leave 9.30am for Parks Board HQ
- Revisit the crazy under-the-convention-centre and out to Crab Park route
- Strathcona Library / Community Centre
- Britannia Library / Community Centre (more coffee, more tea)
- Renfrew Library / Community Centre
- Champlain Heights Community Centre
- Champlain Heights Library
- South Hill Library
- Riley Park Community Centre – lunch again at the farmers’ market
- Kerrisdale Library / Community Centre
- Kits Community Centre
- Kits Library (hot drinks)
- over Burrard bridge to Roundhouse Community Centre
- Queen Elizabeth Theatre
- Central Library (end, pub)
