“The NEB (National Executive Board) is encouraging all CUPE members to show their support by signing a Public Service Alliance of Canada online petition. It calls on Tony Clement, president of the Treasury Board and the Harper Conservative government to reverse its planned cuts to jobs and public services, and to maintain and improve federal public services for all Canadians. The petition also calls for the reversal of corporate tax cuts as a cost effective way to reduce the federal deficit.”
