We are pleased to announce that CUPE391 and the Vancouver Public Library have concluded bargaining and have reached a tentative agreement to renew the collective agreement that expired December 31, 2011. Both bargaining committees will be recommending acceptance of the tentative agreement. Details regarding the terms of the agreement and the ratification process will be communicated directly by the Union to its members March 3. 2013. The Bargaining Committee will share details of the proposed settlement at the ratification meeting, not before. We need the members to vote for the contract, for or against.
