The CUPE 391 executive committee plays an vital role in ensuring that VPL is a safe and respectful workplace for all of us. It is one of the most rewarding and educational projects you could take on in your career. Please consider the following executive positions and see if one fits your talents!

The following positions will be up for election:

1 President (1 yr term) *PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PRESIDENT IS A FULL-TIME PAID POSITION*
1 Vice President (2 yr term)
1 Secretary Treasurer (2 year term)
1 Recording Secretary (1 yr term)
4 VPL Members at Large (1 yr term)
1 Trustee (3 yr term)

The following positions in our Gibsons and Sechelt sub-locals will also be elected for the 2012 term:

1 Gibsons Member-at-Large (1 year term) (elected by Gibsons Public Library staff)
1 Sechelt Member-at-Large (1 year term ) (elected by Sechelt Public Library staff)

THE THIRD AND FINAL CALL FOR NOMINATIONS HAS BEEN MADE

Some things to keep in mind:

Nomination forms must be SIGNED by the candidate and sent or faxed to Anne Dodington at 604-665-3550 (Dunbar branch) by Thursday May 3, 2012 | Download the Nomination Form

OR

Members can be nominated at any time by any member in good standing, either in writing up to May 6, 2012 or in person during the nominations call period at the AGM.

The new Executive assume their duties on June 1, 2012.
