This year’s Pride Parade is coming up soon – Sunday Aug 4th.
The CUPE float will be at Thurlow between Haro and Robson.
Arrive at 9:45 or earlier if you wish to assist in preparing the CUPE contingent for this year’s parade.
However, if you just want to go on the parade with us arrive around 11:00.
The actual parade doesn’t start until around 11:45 – noon.
I will be there carrying the CUPE flag but everybody is responsible for their own swag.
The parade will start at Robson and Thurlow, proceed West to Denman, and from Pacific St. and Beach Ave to Sunset Beach.
It’ll probably take 3-4 hours.
