Labour Day is a day to celebrate the many contributions made by working people across the country. Working people have truly made Canada a better place to live. CUPE members play an integral role each day by delivering public services and programs in every community. We collectively should be proud of this important work .
Below is a listing of all Labour Day events taking place across the province on Monday, September 7th. All of these events are free and hope you will share the details with your membership.
Also included is a copy of the poster for the lower mainland event taking place at Swangard Stadium. Once again CUPE BC and the United Steel Workers are sponsoring the music at this year’s event. This year the local band Chilliwack will be the feature act.
On behalf of Brother Hancock and the entire CUPE BC Executive Board have a great Labour Day!
