As you all know, we are on the cusp of legal strike action. The bargaining committee have been entrenched in discussions on how to proceed, here is how this will be playing out during the next couple of days.
Show up to your respective worksites. Tomorrow and Wednesday will be normal workdays

At 9:55 AM tomorrow (Tuesday, July 24th) there will be a one hour study session at the Central branch for all CUPE 391 members working at the Central branch. The location of this study session will be the Level II QIS booth.
Continuing throughout the rest of tomorrow and Wednesday there will be one hour study sessions at every branch. Job action committee will communicate with each branch as to day and time.
These study sessions will effectively close the branch in which it is being held for the duration of the session (apprx. 1 hr.).
These study sessions will also be information sessions on the following subjects:
– How did we get here
– What are our key issues
– How will job action be escalating
– Q&A
We continue to encourage our management team to come back to the bargaining table and have meaningful discussions with us about our priority issues.
