The union is aware of the impact of drilling on levels 8&9 that began today at Central. Our OH&S committee and the Union will be keeping a close eye on things. The Employer has informed us they will be assessing the noise level and other factors on a regular basis to determine where it falls in terms of safety standards and adjust procedures and equipment as necessary, and that they will be considering options for staff who are unable to tolerate the noise and vibrations.
