Call for Support | Lytton Wildfire Evacuees

Various donation centres and fundraisers have been set up to assist roughly 1,000 residents displaced by the recent fires in Lytton, BC.  For more information on ways to support Lytton wildfire evacuees, please see below:

WA Labour Education & Research Centre | COVID and Workplace Safety Video

The WA Labor Education and Research Center just released a new video featuring worker voices on the past year’s fight for workplace safety, and what should happen next to protect members against current and future airborne disease threats. The video features interviews with union food manufacturing, retail and hospital workers, along with the University of Washington COVID safety expert Dr. Marissa Baker.  Click here to watch the video on the Labor Centre’s YouTube channel.
