Mostly just reminders for tomorrow

Just a couple of quick notes tonight:

Remember that tomorrow is Dog Day Afternoon (all day)! Crowd-friendly dogs on their leashes are invited to all picket locations, and special dog-free zones will be set aside at Central and Kerrisdale.

The regular Picket Captain/Job Action Committee meeting is also scheduled for tomorrow morning at 9 at the union office.

From Anne M: An update for Flying Pickets for this Thursday:
East goes West! Flying Pickets East will boldly tackle new frontiers this Thursday. After meeting at Collingwood at 9:00 am, we will make our way west to KER (with a stop at SH) for approximately 10:00. At KER we will pick up anyone who is interested in joining in and make our way to as many westside branches as possible. Join us in this exciting new adventure…

And today around thirty members of the Bike Strike Brigade made the rounds of (okay, I may be exaggerating again) pretty much every community centre and CUPE 15 worksite in Vancouver. Watch for some kind of report and/or photos or film once the Bike Strikers get a chance to catch their breaths and re-hydrate. It must have been quite a day!

See you tomorrow,
