Representatives from the Bargaining Committee met with representatives from the Library, Metro Vancouver (formerly the GVRD), and the City of Vancouver this morning to present our amendments to Foley’s recommendations.
The Employer has now replied and the Bargaining Committee will be discussing their response. We hope that talks will continue and that we’ll be able to come to a tentative agreement soon.
In other news, CUPE 1004 and City of Vancouver have successfully “tweaked” Foley’s recommendations. Their tentative agreement will be voted on by 1004 members on Sunday.
