Hello CUPE 391 Members,
We wanted to give you a quick update on the work your Bargaining Committee has been doing during these unprecedented times. Inder has stepped down as Chair due to other commitments and Shenuri has taken on the role. Thank you to Inder for your work up until now and to Shenuri for taking on this important role!
The committee has been meeting monthly to review and adjust the language in the current ratified proposals for our next collective agreement given the events of the past few months. We are planning to resume the bargaining process with the employer over the next few months, depending on capacity for both sides.
